In addition to the SAMA 6000, SAMA 7000, and SAMA 8000 Dolby Atmos soundbars, Sonodyne has expanded its audio offering in India with the Bandish G2 and Malhar G2 wireless music systems.
Sonodyne Bandish G2 and Malhar G2
After launching its initial wireless home music systems in 2023, Sonodyne used real-world listening experience and consumer input to produce the Bandish G2 and Malhar G2. Both versions include separate adjustments for the bass and treble. The Malhar G2 is a three-way wireless music system with a 200W rating, and the Bandish G2 is a two-way system with a 120W rating.
- Sound adjustment: Independent bass and treble controls let users adjust the output to their preferences and room acoustics.
- Transducer design: Updated transducers are intended to reproduce voices, instruments and effects naturally and clearly.
- Amplification and DSP: More powerful amplifiers and ear-tuned digital signal processing (DSP) provide additional headroom and improved dynamics.
- Movie Mode: This mode provides a wider soundstage for movies and parties.
- Cabinet construction: Rigid wooden enclosures help minimise cabinet resonance. Both systems also feature sculpted, curved cabinets.
- Controls and connectivity: Each system includes a full-function remote control and HDMI ARC for connection to compatible smart TVs.
Sonodyne SAMA 6000, SAMA 7000 and SAMA 8000
In 2025, Sonodyne introduced the SAMA 5000, a 3.1-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar, to the home theatre market. With various speaker combinations and channel configurations, the new SAMA 6000, SAMA 7000, and SAMA 8000 increase the range.
The three models have the following configurations:
- SAMA 6000: 5.1-channel Dolby Atmos
- SAMA 7000: 5.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos
- SAMA 8000: 7.1.4-channel Dolby Atmos
- Sound balance: To enhance frequency balance, the enclosure, transducers, and DSP crossover are adjusted. Additionally, the SAMA 8000 offers autonomous surround-level adjustment.
- Bass and amplification: While more potent subwoofers manage low-frequency output, higher-power amplifiers offer more headroom.
- Surround and height channels: To expand the soundstage, the SAMA 6000 employs side-firing drivers. Both the SAMA 7000 and SAMA 8000 have upward-firing channels, and the SAMA 8000 has wireless surround speakers.
- Audio controls: The SAMA 8000 allows users to independently modify surround levels, and all three variants offer subwoofer-level adjustment.
